Apple Siri Settlement Deadline: How to File Your Claim

Claims for the $250 million Apple Siri settlement must be submitted online or postmarked by December 21, 2026. File at SmartphoneAISettlement.com by selecting File A Claim. According to 9to5Mac, the claim window opened September 21, 2026 and runs through that December deadline.

The settlement covers claims about advertised Siri and Apple Intelligence features. A valid claim pays an estimated $25 per eligible device, subject to adjustment. According to iClarified, the payment can move up or down pro rata and is capped at $95 after fees, costs, and taxes.

Who qualifies for payment?

The case is Landsheft et al. v. Apple Inc., No. 5:25-cv-02668 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

ConsumerAffairs reports that the lawsuit alleges Apple advertised delayed Siri and Apple Intelligence features. The affected class is U.S. buyers who purchased a covered iPhone between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025. Engadget describes the covered models as: Check your purchase date and model before filing. Only those models bought in that date range qualify.

  • iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max
  • iPhone 16, 16e, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max

How much is a valid claim worth?

Payment is per eligible device, not per person. The estimate is $25 for each valid device claim.

The final amount depends on how many valid claims are filed. More claims can lower the per-device amount, while fewer claims can raise it. The cap is $95 per device after fees, costs, and taxes are deducted.

How do you file online?

The only official filing portal is SmartphoneAISettlement.com. According to Nolo, claimants select File A Claim on that site and are routed to administrator Verita Global's claims portal.

Online filers must supply contact information plus ownership proof. CyberGuy reports the normal proof is the iPhone serial number at Settings > General > About: Submit before the online deadline on December 21, 2026. Keep a copy of your confirmation.

  • Enter your contact information in the claims portal
  • Enter the serial number for each eligible iPhone
  • Use Apple Account email plus device phone number if you cannot provide the serial number

How do you file by mail?

Paper filers must mail a complete and accurate claim form. The form must be postmarked by December 21, 2026. Gadget Review identifies the mailing address as Landsheft v. Apple Settlement Administrator, P.O.

Box 301132, Los Angeles, CA 90030-1132. Use one form entry for each eligible device and check every field. An incomplete form can delay or defeat your claim. Mail early so the postmark is legible and on time.

When will payments go out?

No money can be paid before final court approval plus any appeals. The court order sets the final approval hearing for February 24, 2027 at 9 a.m. in San Jose before Judge Noël Wise.

According to the court order, final approval remains pending until that hearing and later appeals. Expect payment months after approval if no appeal is filed. Any appeal would delay payment further.
