You do not file a claim in the $2.7 million Zumba privacy settlement. If you received email or postal notice, you are already identified and will be paid automatically after final court approval. The official settlement website reports Zumba Fitness LLC agreed to pay $2.7 million to resolve Kueppers et al. v.
Zumba Fitness, LLC, No. 0:24-cv-61983-WPD. The lawsuit claims tracking pixels sent purchasers' information to Meta, MNTN and Pinterest. The Video Privacy Protection Act, a federal law covering video purchase records, is the law at issue.

Who Qualifies for Payment?
OpenClassActions, summarizing the settlement agreement, reports the settlement covers 4,543 people. You qualify only if you bought the on-demand Zumba Basic 1 instructor training course on Zumba.com. Your purchase must fall between October 22, 2022 and October 22, 2024, and your information must have been disclosed.
If you got email or postal notice, records from Zumba and third parties already identify you. The official settlement website says those people need no claim form and receive payment automatically if the court grants final approval.
Do You Need to File Anything?
No. You do nothing to stay in the class. The administrator will mail a check to the address on file. No claim form exists for this settlement.
The payment-update page run by administrator Simpluris lets you log in with the Login ID and PIN from your notice. Use it if you moved or prefer digital payment. Do nothing and you will still receive a mailed check. Update only if you moved or want digital payment.
- Find the Login ID and PIN on your notice
- Log in to update your address or request digital payment instead of a check
- Submit the change by January 24, 2027
How Much Will You Receive?
OpenClassActions estimates each qualifying member will receive at least $229.33 per subclass share. One subclass means about $229.33, two mean about $458.66, and all three mean about $687.99.
The three subclasses reflect disclosures to Meta, MNTN and Pinterest. Your total depends on which disclosures included your information. You receive one share for each subclass that included you.
When Will Payments Go Out?
The official Important Dates page lists opt-out and objection deadlines of December 14, 2026. That same page sets the final approval hearing for January 21, 2027 at 1:00 p.m.
ET in Fort Lauderdale. No payments have been scheduled yet. Payment follows only if the court grants final approval.
Should You Stay In or Opt Out?
Zumba denies wrongdoing and the court has not decided liability. The official settlement website says remaining in the class means accepting automatic payment and releasing covered VPPA claims. You give up the right to sue separately over those claims.
Opt out by December 14, 2026 if you want to preserve a separate lawsuit. Object by the same date if you want the court to consider a complaint about the terms. If you moved, update your mailing address before January 24, 2027 to avoid a delayed check.
