What Is the Case About?
Generic drug manufacturers are accused of conspiring to fix the prices of hundreds of commonly used prescription medications between 2009 and 2019. The federal End-Payer program combines three settlements (Sandoz/Fougera, Sun/Taro, and Apotex/Heritage) totaling more than $850 million.
Who Qualifies?
Consumers who paid out of pocket for covered generic drugs, plus health insurers and benefit plans that reimbursed those costs, during the class period May 1, 2009–December 31, 2019. Hundreds of drugs are covered, including common antibiotics and blood-pressure, diabetes, and thyroid medications.
