Gen Digital Prerecorded Calls Settlement
Gen Digital Inc., the parent company of LifeLock and Norton, has reached a $9.95 million class action settlement (Michelle Jackson v. Gen Digital Inc.) over allegations that it made automated and prerecorded phone calls to non-customers in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Affected individuals may file a claim by April 13, 2026.
What Is This Case About?
The lawsuit alleges that Gen Digital made artificial or prerecorded voice calls to individuals about LifeLock or Norton accounts when those individuals were not actually customers of either service. Under the TCPA, companies are prohibited from making prerecorded or autodialed calls to consumers without their prior express consent.
Who Is Eligible?
You may be eligible if you received an artificial or prerecorded voice call from Gen Digital about a LifeLock or Norton account between February 19, 2021 and October 30, 2025, but you did not have an account with either service at the time.
How Much Can You Receive?
Eligible class members may receive an estimated $200 to $625 per claimant from the $9.95 million settlement fund. The exact amount depends on the total number of valid claims filed.
