How Do I Prove Eligibility for a Real Estate Class Action Settlement?

The claim deadline (May 9, 2025) has passed. New claims are no longer accepted. If you already filed, payment updates come from the court-appointed settlement administrator on the official settlement website. See settlements open for claims now.

You prove eligibility by showing you sold a home during the eligible date range, listed it on a U.S. multiple listing service, and paid a commission to a brokerage.

You file one claim with that sale information plus your closing paperwork when you have it. These cases are the NAR and HomeServices seller settlements over residential real estate broker commissions. A multiple listing service, or MLS, is the shared database agents use to list homes for sale.
