A qualifying purchase is buying the ZB1 OD Version, the online on-demand Zumba Basic 1 instructor-training course, from Zumba.com. Only natural persons in the United States who bought that course between Oct. 22, 2022 and Oct.
22, 2024 are in the class. The rule turns on product, buyer, timing, and data possession. The sections below break down each part so you can check a past order.

What course counts?
The qualifying item is narrow: the ZB1 OD Version bought on Zumba.com. OpenClassActions identifies it as the on-demand online Zumba Basic 1 instructor-training course in its OpenClassActions settlement summary. It is prerecorded video, not a live class.
The GovInfo court record describes 16 on-demand modules viewable at leisure. That on-demand video link is the basis for the Video Privacy Protection Act claim. The court-authorized settlement site says the case alleges tracking pixels sent purchase PII to Meta, MNTN, and Pinterest, which Zumba denies. PII means personal information that can identify you.
Who counts and when?
The class covers only natural persons in the United States who bought between Oct. 22, 2022 and Oct. 22, 2024. The buyer's first and last names must also have appeared on the order-confirmation page.
That page must sit at a ZB1 OD order URL held by Meta, MNTN, or Pinterest. The Southern District of Florida states both timing and possession limits in its Southern District of Florida class order. If all four points match, keep any email or mail notice in a safe place. The notice controls whether money arrives without a claim form.
- Natural person in the United States
- Bought ZB1 OD Version on Zumba.com
- Purchase date Oct. 22, 2022–Oct. 22, 2024
- First and last name on order-confirmation page held by Meta, MNTN, or Pinterest
How do the three disclosure groups affect payment?
Possession means an advertiser already held the page showing your name and order URL. You do not prove this from your inbox alone.
OpenClassActions puts the affected group at about 4,543 buyers. The subclass follows which advertiser held the page, not where you watched the videos. Buyers fall into Meta, MNTN, and Pinterest subclasses, with one payment share for each subclass a buyer belongs to.
What falls outside and what happens next?
Other Zumba buys do not qualify. In-person Basic 1, buys outside the dates, and orders where the name and URL were not in an advertiser's possession do not count. Simpluris states these limits in its official settlement FAQ. People who received email or mail notice need no claim form.
They are paid automatically after final approval, the Simpluris site says. Opt-out and objection requests are due Dec. 14, 2026. The hearing is Jan. 21, 2027, according to the court-authorized Simpluris site in its settlement notice.
