Boeing job applicants who filed a claim by June 29, 2026 now have final court approval behind them, but their checks — estimated at about $1,396 each — will not be mailed until the appeal period runs out. The King County Superior Court docket shows an Order Approving Settlement entered after the August 7, 2026 final approval hearing. No payment date had been announced as of September 25, 2026, and the official settlement website had gone offline, which makes an up-to-date mailing address the one thing claimants control.
Status: Final approval granted; payments pending | Claims closed June 29, 2026 | Estimated payment $1,396.32 | Checks void 180 days after issue
The Pay-Transparency Claim
The case is Perry v. The Boeing Company, et al., Case No. 24-2-12754-2 SEA, in King County Superior Court in Washington. The named plaintiff sued The Boeing Company and Boeing Financial Corporation in 2024, alleging that their job postings for open positions in Washington did not disclose the wage scale or salary range being offered, as required by RCW 49.58.110 — the job-posting provision of Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act.
The court has not decided whether Boeing violated the law. The settlement website said the parties agreed to settle to avoid the cost, uncertainty and time of continued litigation.
A stop in federal court
Boeing first removed the case to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington (No. 2:24-cv-01000), and the plaintiff asked to send it back. In November 2024, Judge Robert S. Lasnik granted the motion to remand, finding that the complaint did not allege the kind of concrete injury federal jurisdiction requires. The case returned to King County, where it settled.
Who Was in the Class
The Settlement Class covers people who, from January 1, 2023 through March 31, 2026 (the date of preliminary approval), applied for a job opening in Washington with The Boeing Company or Boeing Financial Corporation where the posting did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of all the benefits for the position.
Membership turned on the application and the posting, not on whether the applicant was interviewed or hired. Notices went to people identified as likely class members, but only those who returned a timely, valid claim form are in line for a check.
Why the Fund Is a Range
The notice states that Boeing and Boeing Financial Corporation will pay between $5,235,990 and $8,044,000, depending on how many class members submitted claims. That is why the deal is usually described as a $5.2 million to $8 million settlement.
Attorneys’ fees and costs, the plaintiff’s service award and administration costs come out before the fund is divided, and each of those amounts is up to the court. Every class member with a timely, valid claim then receives an equal share of what remains. The notice estimated that share at $1,396.32, and it remains an estimate: the final figure depends on the number of valid claims and on the court’s fee and cost rulings.
What Filing Required
| Receipts or records | None. No pay stubs or application records were needed. |
| Online filing | Used the Unique ID and PIN printed on the notice sent to each class member. |
| Paper filing | A claim form could be mailed instead. |
| Verification | The notice said claims are subject to verification, and the administrator may request more information. |
| Deadline | Online or postmarked on or before June 29, 2026 — the same date as the objection deadline. The notice gave no cutoff time or timezone. |
From Approval to Mailbox
| March 31, 2026 | Preliminary approval; the administrator, Simpluris, Inc., is authorized to send the notice and claim form. |
| June 29, 2026 | Claim and objection deadline. |
| August 7, 2026 | Final approval hearing before Judge John McHale. The docket shows an Order Approving Settlement entered afterward but does not display its entry date. |
| Next | The appeal period ends and any appeals or other reviews are completed; checks are then mailed. |
Final approval does not mean payments have started. Under the settlement, eligible class members will be mailed a check after all appeals and other reviews, if any, are finished, and the settlement website had cautioned that resolving appeals can take time. Payment is by mailed check only, and the website said checks expire and become void 180 calendar days after they are issued.
Keeping Track Without the Settlement Website
The official settlement website, EPOA Settlement TBC, where the administrator had posted court documents and the FAQ, was offline as of September 25, 2026; its domain no longer resolved. That leaves two practical routes:
- The court docket. The case can be searched by case number, 24-2-12754-2 SEA, through the King County Superior Court.
- The administrator. Anyone who filed and has since moved should update their mailing address with Simpluris, Inc., because the payment arrives as a mailed check.
Otherwise, people who filed do not need to do anything further unless the administrator contacts them. Boeing is one of many Washington employers to settle a pay-transparency case, and our sister site follows the payment timing on its Boeing Washington job posting settlement page.

When will Boeing settlement checks be mailed?

How much will each claimant receive?
The notice estimated $1,396.32 per valid claimant. Everyone with a timely, valid claim gets an equal share of the fund left after court-approved fees, costs, the service award and administration expenses, so the final amount can differ.

The notice says Boeing and Boeing Financial Corporation will pay between $5,235,990 and $8,044,000, depending on how many class members submitted a claim.
I missed the June 29, 2026 deadline. Can I still be paid?
The notice ties payment to a claim submitted online or postmarked by June 29, 2026. Whether a late claim is accepted is up to the administrator and the court, so anyone in that position should ask Simpluris, Inc.
