What Is the Case About?
The settlement resolves claims that Robinhood misrepresented its payment-for-order-flow practices and failed to provide best execution on stock trades. Robinhood denies wrongdoing. The $2 million fund compensates customers whose market orders executed worse than the National Best Bid or Offer between 2016 and 2018.
Who Qualifies?
U.S. Robinhood customers whose market equity orders (excluding stop orders) were routed during market hours between September 1, 2016 and September 1, 2018 where the total execution-versus-NBBO difference exceeded $5.
