Pinehurst Radiology Associates has reached a class action settlement following a January 2025 cyberattack that compromised the personal and medical information of approximately 8,682 individuals. Affected individuals may file a claim by April 9, 2026.
What Happened?
Pinehurst Radiology Associates experienced a targeted cyberattack in January 2025 that exposed sensitive patient information, including names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, medical diagnoses, treatment information, medical record numbers, insurance numbers, and Medicare/Medicaid numbers. The lawsuit (McNeill, et al. v. Pinehurst Radiology Associates, PLLC) alleges the practice failed to implement adequate cybersecurity measures to protect patient data.
Who Is Eligible?
You may be eligible if your personal information was compromised in the Pinehurst Radiology data breach. Affected individuals should have received a breach notification letter with a unique ID and PIN needed to file a claim.
