G.Skill DDR4 And DDR5 Memory Products Class Action Settlement — Claim Deadline April 7, 2026

G.Skill DDR4 And DDR5 Memory Products Settlement

A $2.4 million class action settlement has been reached over allegations that G.Skill deceptively marketed the speeds of its DDR4 and DDR5 computer memory (RAM) products. Consumers who purchased qualifying G.Skill memory modules may file a claim by April 7, 2026.

What Is This Case About?

The lawsuit alleges that G.Skill marketed and sold DDR4 and DDR5 memory modules with advertised speeds that the products could not actually achieve under normal operating conditions without manual overclocking. Plaintiffs claim the memory sticks ran at lower default speeds (JEDEC specifications) rather than the higher speeds prominently featured on the packaging and marketing materials, misleading consumers about what they were purchasing.

Who Is Eligible?

You may be eligible if you purchased qualifying G.Skill memory products between January 31, 2018 and January 7, 2026. Covered products include:

  • G.Skill DDR4 memory rated above 2133 MHz
  • G.Skill DDR5 memory rated above 4800 MHz

No proof of purchase is required for up to 5 products.

How Much Can You Receive?

Eligible class members will receive a pro-rata share from the $2.4 million settlement fund based on the number of qualifying products purchased and the total number of valid claims filed.
