Tips for Filing No-Proof Claims

  • Only file if you actually qualify. All claims are submitted under penalty of perjury. Only claim settlements for products you actually purchased or services you actually used.
  • Keep any receipts you find. Even though proof is not required, having receipts, order emails, or screenshots can increase your payout on some settlements.
  • File early. Many settlements have a limited fund. The sooner you file, the less likely the fund is exhausted or your payout is reduced.
  • Check your email. Some settlements (like Grubhub and Google Play) use your existing account info to notify you or pay you automatically.
  • Watch the deadlines. Missing a deadline means you get nothing and may give up your right to sue over the issue.
